Wood Pigeon: everywhere. Frances has commented that one of the reasons it seems so quiet at home is that dawn isn't greeted by the constant cooing of these birds.
Collared Dove: first recorded in the UK in the 1950s, having spread over time from Central Asia and now everywhere.
Magpie: a proper one not the Australian imitation!
Pied Wagtail.
Black-headed Gull: note that the head is actually brown!
Mediterranean Gull: Although not quite in breeding plumage the black, rather than brown, head is clear, as is the fact that it comes much further down the nape.

Yellowhammer: I am quite impressed with this image as it is not a large bird (sparrow sized) and it was about 30m away when I zoomed in to it.

Robin: this trip they seemed quite common, whereas on our 2010 trip I only noticed 1. Hopefully this means the species is doing well.
Common Starling: Taken to show the buff tips to feathers showing that this bird has just moulted and got its new attire.
